Dump Truck Driver Killed in Littleton Crash Identified: State Police

State Police have identified a dump truck driver who was killed in a rollover crash on I-495 in Littleton Friday.

LITTLETON, MA—A four-vehicle crash on I-495 Northbound in Littleton resulted in the death of a 38-year-old East Boston man Friday.

State Police have identified the driver of a tractor-trailer dump truck as Nelson Umanzor, 38, of East Boston. Umanzor was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of a 2011 Kia and his passenger, both from Cumberland, RI, as well as a driver of a Toyota also involved in the crash were transported to Emerson Hospital for minor injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that there was a collision between the four vehicles, causing the dump truck and a 2011 Kia to roll over.

The driver of a Lexus also involved in the crash was transported to Lowell General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
