Author and historian Merry Post will speak about the Civil War experiences of Aaron Jones Fletcher from Acton, and his family. Fletcher wrote home about army life, the capture of New Orleans, and Sheridan's pursuit of Jubal Early's troops in Virginia. His family wrote him about local gossip and life on the farm.
