Get into the BUZZ of the Civics Bee
The League of Women Voters-Acton Area invites you to join us for a fun afternoon of friendly competition to find out how much do you remember from your social studies and civics classes? On Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 2 p.m., the LWV-Acton sponsors a Civics Bee to claim bragging rights for you, your friends, your neighbors, or your town group. Put together a team from your community neighborhood or social group, and find out how much we all know about our national, state and local government, the Constitution, our nation’s history and geography, current economics, our elected representatives and what they all do. Prizes will be offered to all teams who compete in this fun community-building event.
