Hearth Cooking Class

Learn traditional New England Cooking at the Acton Historical Society's Hearth Cooking Class at the Jonathan Hosmer House.  Prepare dishes using 18th century techniques and cook them on an open hearth and finish by sharing a meal.

The February 12 class is Baking and Soup, with fish chowder, curried apple soup, cheddar biscuits, yeast bread and rolls, and pies and tarts.

The fee for this class is $40 per participant and pre-registration is required.  Make checks payable to Steve Banatoski and mail to: Steve Banatoski, 7 Great Rd., Maynard, Ma. 01754.
