ACTON-BOXBOROUGH CULTURAL COUNCIL ANNOUNCES ITS 2012 “OUR WORLD, MAY IS MOVIE MONTH” FILM SERIES.
Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy free movies at the Acton Town Hall (Room 204) on Friday evenings during the month of May. The following films will start at 7:00 p.m. and last approximately two hours.
May 18th: “The Wedding Banquet” (R), is a Chinese film directed by Ang Lee. A gay New Yorker stages a marriage of convenience with a young woman to satisfy his traditional Taiwanese family, but the wedding becomes a major inconvenience when his parents fly in for the ceremony. This warm-hearted comedy centers on the farcical confusion that emerges from this deception.
