Opening Reception on Saturday, September 8th, 4 - 7pm, for "New Works on Paper, 2012.", a show with lots of different types of media exhibited, ranging from pastel to watercolor to monotypes, mixed media and woodblock prints.
Of particular interest is the Special Event we will host on Saturday, September 22nd at 4 pm, when Pamela Lawson, a longtime member of our stable of artists at the gallery as well as a long time art teacher at the Nashoba Brooks School in Concord, will offer a demonstration of her monotype printmaking process in the gallery for all to see. It will be a fun and interesting way to learn about different ways that artists work, especially this technique which is not that familiar to many visitors to the gallery. Pam is a wonderful teacher. We are excited to have her do this and hope plenty of people will be on hand to take it all in.
