Bring your kids to the Science Discovery Museum for Water Wednesday - Cold as Ice, where they can make chilly discoveries by putting salt, coins, and food coloring on a 300-pound block of ice. Experiment with sand, salt, ice melt, and Magic Salt and to learn about the various ways to deal with icy roads and walkways in winter. Explore the unique characteristics of this solid state of water and learn about the environmental impact of different methods of ice control. This program takes place outdoors.
