The Acton Historical Society presents: The Blanchard Family of Acton and Boxborough.
Local historian Bill Klauer, Vice-President of the Acton Historical Society, will give a talk about one of Acton and
Boxborough’s most prominent and influential families, the
Blanchards. Mr. Klauer will explore family members’ early lives as farmers in Boxborough and Littleton, and their later roles in the development of West Acton in the mid-19th through early 20th centuries. He will also speak
about the different interests that brought them wealth, and their generosity to the towns of both Acton and Boxborough
