The Acton-Boxborough Regional School District maintains a walk-in fitness center which is open to the public in the evenings and on Saturday mornings. The fitness center is located in the Acton-Boxborough Regional High School.The Center contains free weights, cardiovascular (Nordic Track, rowing machines, stair steppers, exercycles) and resistance equipment.
To use the Fitness Center, you must attend an orientation training session. Students certified through their physical education class are eligible to participate without attending an orientation.
Drop-in prices are $4 per visit for Acton-Boxborough adults; $2 per visit for Acton-Boxborough students; $7 per visit for non-resident adults; and $5 per visit for non-resident high school students.
Multiple use punch cards for reduced rates are also available. These may be purchased at the Fitness Center as follows: $30 for 10 visits for Acton-Boxborough adults; $15 for 10 visits for Acton-Boxborough High School students; $60 for 10 visits for non-resident adults; and $45 for 10 visits for non-resident high school students.
