Explosive Sounds, Car Accidents and More From the Acton Police Log

A resident in North Acton called the Acton Police Department on Nov. 14 after hearing what sounded like explosions.
Officers arrived in the area just before 6 p.m.
After conduction an investigation, it was deemed a forklift that was loading trees into a dumpster was causing the noise.

In other police news from Nov. 14:
- Officers assisted Concord PD with a breaking and entering at Main and Cranberry.
- A Minot Avenue resident complained about a barking dog. The dog was brought inside.
- Officers responded to an accident on Route 2 at 2:47 p.m. with unknown injuries. No one was transported to the hospital and the car was removed from the scene.
- Officers responded to another accident on Route 2 at 4:45 p.m. with injuries. No other information was made available.
- A Concord Road resident reported seeing someone walking around his house with a flashlight after 8 p.m. Responding officers did not find any issues.
