Family Concert with Liz Buchanan Saturday, March 5, in Stow

Parents' Choice Award winner Liz Buchanan will perform a family concert at First Parish Church in Stow on Saturday, March 5, at 3 p.m.

Two-time Parents’ Choice Award winner Liz Buchanan will perform a family concert at First Parish Church in Stow on Saturday, March 5, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Buchanan is about to release her fourth album of lively, danceable music for kids and families. Come hear her rocking songs about celebrating the earth, finding Very Hungry Caterpillars and confronting a T. rex!

As Boston Children’s Music put it, “Liz has a rich singing voice that’s both beautiful and friendly. It really attracts kids, especially shy ones. Her shows are very interactive and kids just seem to feel free to dance and be themselves with her.”

Who should attend? “It’s a family concert,” says Buchanan, “so the music is intended to appeal to children up to age 10 or so. Audience members for these types of events tend to the younger end, but I did do an event last spring that included several older kids and they liked it fine!”

First Parish Church is located on the Stow Common at 353 Great Road, Stow. Admission is $5 per child; there’s no charge for adults. Tickets are available at www.BrownPaperTickets.com and at the door. All children must be accompanied by an adult. FPC’s facilities are wheelchair accessible. For further information, see www.AntelopeDance.com or call 978-274-2593.
