Fitchburg Resident to Feature in The Great Gatsby

Fitchburg Resident, Christi Frink talks about her role in Moonstruck Theater Company' upcoming staged production of The Great Gatsby.

MOONSTRUCK THEATER COMPANY, in association with Amazing Things Art Center of Framingham, is pleased to present the regional premiere of the American classic THE GREAT GATSBY, opening Friday, October 24, and running for seven performances through Sunday, November 2.

THE GREAT GATSBY, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Jazz Age fable of doomed love and careless wealth, will be presented live on stage as you have never seen it before. This exciting new version, reinterpreted for the stage by Simon Levy, brings the American classic to life through the music of the era. Song and dance from the 1920s will accompany Levy’s exhilarating script to create an immersive theatrical experience.

THE GREAT GATSBY features 15 performers from the Boston and Metro West regions, including Fitchburg resident Christi Frink as the vapid, vain and hilarious Mrs. McKee.

“I was incredibly excited to audition for THE GREAT GATSBY because it is my favorite book and it is an exciting story to tell to a live audience,” says Frink. “This show has it all; love, dancing, betrayal and fantastic music! The story is a classic and, even if you have read it before, seeing it live is exciting and new and will still have you gripping your seats in anticipation of how it all plays out.”

Frink began performing in high school and has continued on steadily since. Her favorite show is still her first, Seussical: The Musical, and she credits it as kick starting her love of theater. When not in the theater, Frink enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and two dogs. Having recently purchased her first home in Fitchburg, Frink works as a nanny in Marlborough, MA.
