Five Teens Charged In Acton Stabbing

Two 18-year-olds and three other teens were charged with the stabbing of an 18-year-old in late April.

ACTON, MA — Five teenagers were charged in the stabbing incident that happened in Acton in late April. Two 18-year-olds were charged, Jeremiah M. Boutin and Spencer Alexandre of Boxborough, along with three other juveniles, a 15-year-old and two 16-year-olds.

All five have been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, four counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and willful and malicious destruction of property, according to Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan.

The stabbing happened on April 23 on Long Ridge Road in Acton. The five teens were driving along Long Ridge Road to meet the victim, according to the DA's office. When the group met the victim, who was in a car with other people inside, the smashed the windows with a baseball bat and assaulted him, according to the DA's office.

The victim was stabbed several times but was able to get away — he was treated at Boston hospital for stab wounds.

Boutin and Alexandre were released on personal recognizance following their arraignment on Friday. Judge John Coffey also ordered the defendants to stay away from and have no contact with victims in the case, to stay at home and to abide by a 10:30 p.m. — 6 a.m. curfew. The next date in this case is July 15.
