
ACTON, MA—The height of Flu season is upon us in Acton, and many residents may be scrambling to get themselves and their families vaccinated.
Acton Nursing Services has announced that it has Influenza vaccinations available for those interested. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that anyone over six months old should receive a yearly flu vaccination.
According to the latest FluView report, two influenza-associated pediatric deaths were reported from Jan. 31 to Feb. 6. The report also notes that influenza activity has increased in the United States.
