Foundation for MetroWest’s 2017 Spring Inspiration Breakfast
Dr. Richard Weissbourd, Senior Lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Speaks at Spring Inspiration Breakfast
The Foundation for MetroWest’s 2017 Spring Inspiration Breakfast was held yesterday at the Wellesley Country Club to celebrate the benefits and explore the challenges of fostering philanthropic literacy among youth.
The Spring Inspiration Breakfast featured author, academic and parenting expert Dr. Richard Weissbourd as its keynote speaker. Weissbourd’s studies focus on moral development, vulnerability and resilience in childhood. Dr. Weissbourd also co-directs the Making Caring Common Project, a national effort to prioritize moral and social development in child-raising while providing strategies to schools and parents for promoting caring, a commitment to justice, and other key moral and social capacities in children.
