Get In Shape Boot Camp Style
There are many benefits to getting in shape with a personal trainer. Add that to a Boot Camp regimen, and you have a recipe for success.

In October 2009, personal trainer, Robby Blanchard, started "TNT Boot Camp," an exercise class in Acton. In November 2010, Blanchard opened his own studio on 930 Main Street where the class is now held. The class is held Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings as well as evening sessions every evening Monday through Thursday.
Blanchard greatly enjoys working in the Acton area. Growing up in central Massachusetts, his first experience in the area was as a private personal trainer. He found that the people of Acton were very health conscious and shared his enjoyment for fitness. After becoming acquainted with the people of Acton, Blanchard knew that he wanted to open his boot camp class here.
Blanchard defines boot camp as “a high intensity, full body workout; pushing past comfort zones and allowing clients to exceed their believed limits and levels to achieve success.”

Blanchard chose to open a boot camp class from his experience as a personal trainer. Through his years of exposure to different workouts, he found that boot camp has been very successful in helping clients stick to goals and achieve results. He believes that this is a result of combining a fun group atmosphere with constant changes in routine.
As a beginner looking to get involved in the class, there are four available packages; the most popular is the platinum membership which is a twelve month program, the gold membership is six months, a basic membership is three months and there is a special offer in which a six week membership is offered - this last package is perfect for college students or high school students looking for a new summer workout. Although the class may seem intimidating at first, Blanchard encourages beginners to put aside any hesitance and jump right in as the class is geared for any age or athletic ability.

After the first fifteen minutes in a typical class, all participants will break a sweat. The class is then usually given a two-minute water break and returns for the remaining thirty minutes of the workout. Throughout the workout, Blanchard blasts upbeat music, shaking any sleepiness from the clients and boosting them with energy.
Blanchard incorporates both indoors and outdoors in his class; while some are occupied with squats or sit ups inside, others sprint outside, leaving no time for a dull moment.
At the gym, people often find themselves at a loss of when or how to do certain exercises because machines are difficult to use. However, boot camp gives clients a personal trainer, which helps with these questions, bringing about better results. Unlike just working with a personal trainer, boot camp clients also help and motivate each other in class.
