Hit-and-Run Accident, Fireworks and More from the Acton Police Log
The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.
The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on Feb. 5:
- Officer were dispatched to Powdermill Road regarding an accident. One person filed a hit-and-run report. No injuries reported.
- A caller on Strawberry Hill Road reported a male in a white pickup truck was parked in a driveway. Responding officers reported it was a contractor who went to the wrong house.
- Officers responded to Great Road for a report of an accident. Two cars were towed. One person was transported to Pope Road. Medical units responded to evaluate one person who refused treatment.
- A caller on Vanderbelt Road reported fireworks going off in the neighborhood. Responding officers could not find the fireworks.
- A person from Great Road walked in to the PD lobby to report a larceny.
