Housebreak, Suspicious Woman and More from the Acton Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported from the Acton Police Department on Jan. 17:

  • Officers responded to Hayward Road for a report of a truck driver who would not comply with security instruction. The driver had been asleep and said he would move to a truck stop on I-495.
  • Officers were dispatched to Great Road for a car accident. No injuries were reported and one car was towed from the scene.
  • Officers responded to Main Street for a report of a hit-and-run accident. The car at the scene did not sustain damage.
  • A resident on Central Street reported a housebreak after finding a brick that was thrown through a window.
  • A Main Street resident reported a larceny.
  • Officers responded to Charter Road for a report of a suspicious person. A female party said her car had been vandalized.
  • A Main Street resident reported possible ID theft. Investigation showed mail was delivered to the wrong address.
