Household Goods Welcomes New Board Member

Sally Savelle of Concord was recently elected to the board of directors of Household Goods of Acton

ACTON -- Household Goods Inc., a volunteer-driven,

nonprofit organization that provides a full range of donated furniture
and household items, free of charge, to help people in need make a home,
has announced the election of a new director to its board, Sally
Savelle.

Savelle, a resident of Concord since 1993, graduated from Mississippi State
University. She holds a master's of public administration from
Suffolk University, and an ABD, Special Education and Clinical
Psychology and master's of education (Special Ed) from Vanderbilt
University. Savelle has been involved with Household Goods in various
volunteer roles, most recently taking on a vital position
on the Communications Team. She also brings extensive nonprofit
experience, including president of the Auxiliary of Emerson Hospital.

"Sally has been involved with Household Goods for many years and has a very
good sense of our history and culture," says Board President
Mimi Deck Rutledge. "We look forward to having her on the board, where
she will proactively contribute to strengthening our organization."
