According to FindTheHome’s most recent data, Acton residents spend a good chunk of their day commuting. 28.1 percent of residents have 30-44 minute commute times to their place of work, three percentage points higher than the county average.
14 percent of residents take 20-29 minutes to get to work, and 17.7 percent travel over an hour to get to work, which is 7 percentage points higher than the county average.
85 percent of Acton residents travel via car, a mark seven points higher than the county average. Only about five percent of residents use public transportation, which is a mark that is about six percentage points lower than the county average.
