Indivisible Acton delivers petition to US Representative Niki Tsongas

Indivisible Acton delivers petition to US Representative Niki Tsongas on March 10, 2017

Debra Simes and Joris Wils of Indivisible Acton, an Acton area based group committed to influencing politics through local action delivered a petition on 3/10 to US Representative's Niki Tsongas's Deputy District Director Jane Adams, which reads "Attorney General Jeff Sessions lied under oath about his contacts with the Russian ambassador and must resign immediately. Sessions' successor must appoint a special prosecutor to lead a comprehensive investigation of the Trump campaign and the Trump administration's ties to the Russian government."

The petition was signed over the period when the news media was full of the latest set of unsubstantiated accusations generated by the Republican Administration, this time of wiretapping. It emphasizes that her constituents are not distracted by these claims and calls upon the Representative to demand Sessions' resignation, again and repeatedly, and to give the accusations no notice either until substantiated.
