Injured Motorists, Possible Child Abuse and More From the Acton Police Log

The following was submitted by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on April 4:

  • Emergency personnel responded to Brook Street for a report of an accident with injuries. At least one car had its airbag deployed. Two cars were towed from the scene.
  • A person reported an issue with a belligerent customer on Massachusetts Avenue.
  • A manager at a Main Street business  reported having two shoplifters in custody.
  • A person reported seeing a female holding a 7- or 8-month-old infant in the front seat of a car and that the infant was not in a car seat. The car entered Westford before the responding officer could catch up the car. Westford police were notified.
  • An officer responded to Great Road for a larceny report.
  • An officer was dispatched to Main Street for a report of an accident. No injuries reported.
