Kimberly Clark Faces Additional Charges of Embezzlement & Larceny from Acton Nonprofit

On March 13, 2012, Acton Police received several requests from the local nonprofit, the Acton Family Network to look into many accounting irregularities. An investigation and a forensic audit was conducted by the Acton Police Detective Division and verified that many different unauthorized financial transactions occurred and according to the police, the treasurer of the Acton Family Network during 2007, Kimberly Clark, 37, of 3 Paul Revere Road, Acton, "used her position with the organization to access various accounts for her personal expenses."
Clark has been charged with association officer embezzlement over $250 and larceny over $250 by single scheme.
In September of 2011, the Acton Police Department in Acton's Cub Scouts Packs 1 and 70 between the years of 2005 - 2011. Kimberly was treasurer of the packs during that time and is also facing charges of larceny over $250 by single scheme and association officer embezzlement over $250. Her husband, Kevin is currently facing charges of larceny over $250 by single scheme.

Both Kimberly and Kevin are due to appear at the Concord District Court Friday, June 8.
