LETTER TO THE EDITOR: A Vote of Support for Katie Green for Selectman

Katie Green possesses the kind of devotion and enthusiasm that is typical of so many of Acton's volunteer citizens. She has the desire and drive to take on Acton's most compelling issues and work each of them to a successful, practical conclusion. Having served for four years as a legislative aide to one of Acton's representatives, Katie brings a wholly different perspective regarding the issues of Massachusetts' towns in general and especially those unique to Acton. She possesses the essential experience gained from working with other surrounding communities, as well as a fund of knowledge of the various ways those towns have successfully dealt with similar issues.

Katie is a people person who has actively and enthusiastically sought out a myriad of differing views and opinions and who has gleaned from them the essential elements to formulate positive, productive resolutions.  She is a natural leader. She is also thoroughly familiar with both the state and town budgeting process. In short, Katie is possessed of all of the skills and experience required to most effectively fill the position of Selectman for the town of Acton.
