LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Busse's Leadership is What Acton Needs

I have known Margaret Busse for many years now and I am very pleased to see that she is running for a seat on the Board of Selectmen. She possesses important qualities of character and skill that I believe are prerequisite to that position.  

While observing the progress of the Acton 2020 Group, I have seen her leadership in action in formulating a vision for a vibrant future for Acton.  It comes as no surprise to me that she is also a member of the planning board.    

So in addition to having the vision to set goals, she has the resolve to do the hard work that is necessary to plan and execute the steps that are needed to make those goals a reality.

Margaret also brings the unique quality of having children that are, or soon will be, in the school system.  This, along with the experience she has gained in the service of out community gives her the power of multiple perspectives that will be a new and refreshing asset to the BOS.

Fortunately for Acton, Margaret is offering to share her experience, planning skill, organizing talent and perspective with us.  I strongly urge you to take her up on that offer - for Acton’s and the future’s sake.  Please join me in voting for her on March 26.
