Long-Distance Threat, Brush Fire and More From the Acton Police Log

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on April 6:

• A person from Florida contacted Acton police after receiving harassing and threatening calls from someone in Acton. The number was from YMAX Communications with no address. Local police were going to speak with the Florida resident the following day.
• Officers responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a report of an accident with injuries. The reporting party did not want medical attention. Another person was transported to Emerson Hospital with unknown injuries.
• Officers responded to Main Street with the Acton Fire Department for a report of a brush fire near a structure. The fire was against the house but knocked down.
• Officers responded to Parker Street for a report of a disturbance. It was deemed the yelling was from children playing behind the building.
