Loose Pit Bull, Injured Motorists and More From the Acton Police Log

The following was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on April 7:

  • Officers responded to Main Street for a report of a front door open and no one around. The house was empty and unoccupied. Inside door was secure, as was the whole house.
  • Officers responded to Great Road for a report of an accident with injuries. Two people were transported to Emerson Hospital with unknown injuries.
  • A motorist reported hitting a deer on School Street. Responding officer destroyed the deer. Car sustained minor damage.
  • A person on Old Village Road reported a neighbor's pit bull was loose and jumped on his daughter. The girl was not injured.
