Man Arrested in Acton for Alleged Car Break-Ins in Boxborough

On Wednesday, July 18, Boxborough police were tipped about a man who was believed to be staying in an apartment on Liberty Square Road, Boxborough, who had three warrants out for his arrest. Cameron D. Flores-Hurlbert, 31, address unknown, was wanted for several recent car break-ins in Boxborough.

The resident who occupied the apartment let officers in to search the place but they did not find Flores-Hurlbert – they did find items reported stolen from several cars, such as computers, electronics and jewelry.

Boxborough detectives obtained a search warrant and seized all the items along with drugs and drug paraphernalia.

On Thursday, July 19, Middlesex Sheriff’s Office fugitive task force tracked down Flores-Hurlbert in Acton, address unknown, and took him into custody. Flores-Hurlbert was charged with breaking and entering into a motor vehicle and larceny of property over $250.00. According to a statement released by the Boxborough police, "it is anticipated that further charges will be forthcoming."
