The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden Cancer Support Center announces their largest annual fundraiser, the Perennial Walk and Ride to Thrive – a cycling and walking event through scenic Nashoba Valley on Sunday, October 6, 2019 kicking off from the Harvard Public Library at 4 Pond Road, Harvard, MA. All proceeds from the Perennial Walk and Ride to Thrive support educational programs and integrative therapies for those affected by cancer – men, women, and caregivers, regardless of prognosis.

Healing Garden supporters Margo’s Hair Design of Acton are participating in the event as “Team Margo’s,” to honor those battling cancer and to assure that the Garden’s integrative services will be available to all who need them during and beyond cancer. Members of “Team Margo’s” will include Margo’s owner Renee Cassidy, and stylists Ricky Horne, Moira Maravich, and Beth Curley.

“Margo’s is proud to support the Healing Garden at the Perennial Walk & Ride to Thrive,” said Cassidy. “For almost 20 years the Garden has offered members of our community a compassionate hand and therapeutic services to ease the side effects of cancer, and taking on the Perennial Walk is a wonderful way for us to give back and support their mission. We invite our friends and neighbors to lace up and hit the road with us!”
