Marijuana, Pills, Stranger Sleeps in Garage and a Wild Pee Wee Celebration

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Arrested:

  • Arrested on: 4/6/12 - 17 Davis Road, Acton
  • Charged with: Assault and Batter / Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon
  • Narrative: Domestic. One person was brought to Emerson Hospital for injuries.
  • Arresting officer: Edward Lawton

  • 4/6/12 - 12:08 p.m. - Avalon Drive: Animal Control assisted in a search for a missing golden retriever named Charlie.

Too Many Pills:

  • 4/6/12 - 2:10 p.m. - Iris Court: A 42-Year-Old woman ingested nine gel caps of pain relief medication and was brought to the hospital.

  • 4/6/12 - 2:42 p.m. - Marian Road: A mother called and reported that she stepped inside the house for a moment and when she went back out into the yard her son was gone. The boy was later discovered at a neighbors home.

Dog Troubles:

  • 4/6/12 - 5:30 p.m. - Massachusetts Avenue: Police received a report of a dog that was tangled in a tree.

Uninvited Sleepover:

  • 4/6/12 - 6:59 p.m. - Maple Street: Police received a report of a person sleeping in someones garage at night.

Possible Marijuana Smoking:

  • 4/7/12 - 10:23 a.m. - Hayward Road: Someone called the police to report that he/she had seen two youths smoking marijuana. Police checked the area and nothing was found.

Leaving Without Paying:

  • 4/7/12 - 10:48 a.m. - Great Road: A manager at a grocery store reported that a customer left the store without paying for a bag of groceries.

Arrested:

  • Arrested on: 4/7/12 - Great Road, Acton
  • Charged with: Shoplifting by Asportation
  • Arresting Officer: John Cooney

High School Party or Something Else?

  • 4/7/12 - 9:16 p.m. - Powdermill Road: Police received a call from someone who reported a loud high school party taking place. Police checked the scene and it was a Pee Wee sports celebration.

Arrested:

  • Arrested on: 4/8/12 - 188 Main Street, Acton
  • Charged with: OUI (Liquor) / Marked Lanes Violation / Operating a Motor Vehicle so as to Endanger
  • Arresting officer: Raymond Grey
