People of the Book-but which book? at Congregation Beth Elohim in Acton. Class Begins November 1, 2016, meets Tuesdays, 7-9:30 p.m.

Most people associate the phrase “People of the Book” with the Bible. But in reality, the book or books that the Jews have poured over for centuries, the books that have really created the “Jewish mind” are the books written by the early rabbis. This 10 session class will explore this vital period of Jewish literature.
