Mistaken Identity, Suspicious Activity and More From the Acton Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on March 22:

  • An officer was dispatched to Main Street after Maynard police reported a male with a felony warrant may be driving a black Lincoln north on Rte. 27. A similar car was stopped at Buscemi's, but the driver was not the one with the warrant.
  • Officers responded to Washington Drive for a report unusally high car and foot traffic. A party scattered when officers arrived. Parents were called to pick up their kids.
  • Officers assisted the Fire Department for a report of an alarm on Canterbury Hill Road. Despite the alarm sounding there was no smoke or fire seen. The alarm was silenced when emergency personnel entered. No cause of the alarm was found.
  • Officers assisted the Fire Department for a fire on Charter Road. The fire was extinguished before police arrived.
  • Officers took a malicious destruction report from Windsor Avenue and Great Road.
