Morning Snowfall Causes Three Accidents in Acton

Despite a winter weather advisory from the National Weather Service, parents and students had to work their way through 3 to 4 inches of snow this morning as Acton Public Schools opted not to use a snow day today.

The Acton Police Department reported three accidents as of 9 a.m., none involving school buses.

The winter weather advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. with total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches expected.
