New Yoga/Juice Bar Business to Open in West Acton
Village Art has plans to open a home studio and focus on private parties and Revolution Community Yoga plans to offer yoga classes and a juice bar in its place.
As of Nov. 30, 2011, Village Art, a West Acton business staple since 2009, has closed shop. Owner, Amanda Sullivan, decided to focus more on private parties and moving her business into a home studio which she hopes to have completed sometime in the near future.
“It really was that we couldn’t maintain our enrolment throughout the whole year,” said Sullivan. “We were really only getting a large number of students during vacation time and for parties. I think the economy is number one because we are certainly not a necessity but I just think that these kids are very busy between sports and tutoring.”
