Mt. Calvary Community Supper shares the Memory of Jenna Agule

As the only active Community Supper serving in Acton, we are so appreciative of those who offer to sponsor meals for our guests who come from many walks of life. Sponsors often bring members to help serve the meal and share information about their organization. Our guests enjoy learning about those who have come to Supper who join us on any chosen Wednesday and treat each person with dignity and respect. On March 6th, all the guests at Mt. Calvary Community Supper of Acton were treated to a special dinner cooked and served by the dedicated family and friends of “One Angel Foundation” which was established by Joy and Chip Agule in the memory of their daughter Jenna. Jenna tragically died while skiing in 2011 at the age of 22. In her very short life, Jenna became passionate about helping children around the world. The Foundation strives to continue Jenna’s devotion.

From the children of Santa Clara School, Honduras in remembrance of Jenna and gratitude for a new school:

“Life is not measured by the amount of years we are given but how well we live them for Christ and one another.

Jenna lived her life with purpose, love and tenderness. “a wonderful child, beautiful smile, heart full of love and a sense of adventure”

Final thoughts from Jenna’s last penned notes were titled: Blessed January 2011

“ Tomorrow is my goal. To wake up inspired just because the sun is shining and live with gratitude every moment for everything I have been given. I hope to be mindful, prayerful and peaceful and radiant, this to those around me.”

Calvary Lutheran Church of Acton, please consider donating to this much needed non-profit service. We serve approximately 100 guests each week. We are the only community supper in Acton who serves a warm welcome and a hot, nutritious meal to all who join us - free of charge. Our all volunteer non-paid staff strive to provide each guest with a sense of belonging to our Supper family. $30 will provide 10 guests with a full 3 course dinner. $300 will sponsor an entire night's supper for all who dine with us.
