Ongoing: The Filming of 'Labor Day' in Acton

Well, many of use were taken aback when we heard a major motion picture starting Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin and Jame Van Der Beek, directed by Jason Reitman, was going to be filming in Acton this summer.

• In mid-May, Town Manager Steve Ledoux a major motion picture was going to be filmed in Acton this summer – a production crew picked for the home of Kate Winslet's character and the acton Senior Center .

• The movie is based on the 2009 book by Joyce Maynard, "Labor Day." . 

• It's a to read the book first before the movie being filmed in your town is released.

• Since filming started, actor and actress have been spotted on set. 

• Although it is a closed set, which means no interviews with the cast and crew, according to a few neighbors around the area of the shoot, about their street turning into a Hollywood set.
