Police Nab Suspects in North Acton Break Ins

Two young men have been charged with breaking and entering several homes in North Acton during the first week of November.

According to Acton detective lieutenant Raymond P. Grey, two young men were arrested and charged with several accounts of Breaking and Entering that occurred during the first week of November in North Acton. A 24 year-old male from Tewksbury, Massachusetts and a 24 year-old male from Nashua, New Hampshire (both names have not been released), surveyed homes for several hours prior to committing the break ins, knocked on doors to make sure no one was home and entered through a rear window or door.

“With the assistance of the Tewksbury Police Department, two suspects were developed,” according to Grey. “The property owners provided detailed descriptions and photographs of the stolen jewelry. With this information, Detective Leo Gower was able speak with the suspects, access various databases and recover most of the stolen property from pawn shop(s).”
