Police Searching for People Involved in Housebreak on Monday

(EDITOR'S NOTE: The following is from the Acton Police Department.)

On 11-26-12 a resident from the south end of Main Street called 911 reporting her home had been broken into and items stolen. A preliminary investigation revealed that entry was gained by forcing open an exterior side door. The perpetrator(s) entered the home between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Several rooms were entered and the homeowner is reporting several pieces of jewelry taken. Responding officers canvassed the area for possible witnesses with negative results.

The Acton Police Department would like to remind all residents to report any suspicious activity they observe immediately by calling 911.
