Proscenium Circus to present ‘Peter and the Starcatcher'
Hilarious pirate-filled musical adventure on stage at ABRHS April 27-May 5
Proscenium Circus closes its 50th Anniversary Season with the hilarious high-sea-adventure musical “Peter and the Starcatcher.” Based on the best-selling book by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, the play is an imaginative prequel to “Peter Pan,” filled with pirate antics, star-stuff, dancing mermen and creaking ships. Join Molly, an apprentice Starcatcher, as she helps a nameless orphan boy become Peter Pan.
Evening performances are 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, April 27-28 and May 4-5. Matinees are 2 p.m. Sunday, April 29, and Saturday, May 5, with talkbacks following the shows; the May 5 matinee is a sensory-friendly performance. PC has informally rated this show PG. Learn more at ABDrama.org.
