Purse Returned to Customer; Bed Frame Removed from Road
The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. Oct. 6, 2012

An employee of a Great Road business reported finding a purse at the store on Sept. 30 at 11:54 a.m. Police notified the owner, who was to come to the police station to pick it up.
A driver on Route 2 reported a bed frame in the middle of the road at 3:11 p.m. The hazard was removed.

At 12:18 a.m., police responded to a report of a couple on School Street: a male riding a bike and a female on foot. The duo said they were on their way home from work.
A Pope Road resident reported at 4:45 p.m. that a neighbor cut down a tree and damaged his yard. The responding officer said there was no damage.

Officers responded at 5:40 pm. to a report of an assault on Hosmer Street. A person was transported to the hospital.
A Great Road resident reported at 5:41 p.m. that somebody was outside her window. Police found no one there.
A caller reported that people sitting in a car near a dumpster on Parker Street at 9:23 p.m. ”look suspicious.” They were gone when police arrived.
