Since the publication of the gross earnings of municipal employees for 2013 was posted last week, we have received several comments and questions about the top grossing employee, Mark Hald, the town's Information Technology Director. Hald, who earned $117,000 in 2012, had a 66% increase in compensation in 2013, earning $195,262, making him the top earning employee in the town, higher than Town Manager Steven Ledoux ($184,208) and school Superintendent Stephen Mills ($190,582).
We ask Town Manager Ledoux in an email to explain Hald's compensation for 2013....
