Rabid Raccoon, Housebreak and More From the Acton Police Log

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on April 5:

  • An Old High Street resident reported seeing a rabid raccoon at the end of the driveway. Animal Control was advised and took care of the raccoon.
  • Officers responded to a report of a fight on Great Road. The fight was deemed verbal in nature.
  • An Arlington Street resident reported being threatened and harassed.
  • Officers responded to Hayward Road for a report of a possible drug violation. Investigation showed a male was smoking cigarettes. Person was advised to stop smoking on town property.
  • Officers were dispatched to Great Road for a report of an accident involving a vehicle and a bicyclist. One person was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
  • Officers responded to Flagg Road for a report of a housebreak.
