Acton Woman Accused of Stealing Thousands

An Acton woman who is an employee at Raytheon in Sudbury was at Framingham District Court on Thursday to face allegations she stole about $20,000 from the company.
According to Sudbury Police Lt. Robert Grady, Sharon Fanning, 50, of 65 Conant St., walked into the police department Thursday morning after learning there were 10 warrants out for her arrest for larceny of more than $250.
Fanning, who works in the food services department of Raytheon, was believed to be responsible for the night deposits. Another employee of Raytheon noticed a large number of deposits were missing and notified police.

Grady said Fanning had no prior arrests.
