RED SOX FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH GLOBE SANTA TO ENCOURAGE FANS TO DONATE WARM CHILDREN'S CLOTHING AT FENWAY PARK THROUGH DECE

Donations Needed

WHAT: The Red Sox Foundation has partnered with Globe Santa this holiday season to collect warm winter clothing for children in need. Through December 12, fans are encouraged to donate new hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens for children 12 and under at Fenway Park.

Globe Santa is a program of the Boston Globe Foundation that delivers books, toys, and other holiday gifts to children across the Commonwealth who would otherwise go without. On average it serves over 50,000 children each holiday season.

HOW: Items for donation may be placed in the collection bin located at Fenway Park’s Gate D entrance near the corner of Yawkey Way and Van Ness Street. Additional collection bins will be available throughout the ballpark on December 12 during the club’s annual Christmas at Fenway event. Fans unable to drop items off in person may mail them to the attention of the Red Sox Foundation’s Globe Santa Collection at 4 Yawkey Way, Boston, MA, 02215.
