Robert Creeley Awards: Pulitzer Prize Recipient to Visit Acton

Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Tracy K. Smith will be give a free public reading on March 29.

ACTON, MA—A Pulitzer Prize recipient will be reading her work at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School during the presentation of the Robert Creeley Award on March 29.

Tracy K. Smith, who's collection of poems entitled Life on Mars, won the 2012 Pulitzer Prize, will be present with the 2016 Robert Creeley award at ABRHS on March 29. Smith will be reading some of her work at the presentation.

The award is presented yearly to an internationally renowned poet. Smith has earned many accolades in her career. Most recently, her crictically acclaimed memoir entitled Ordinary Light was longlisted for the 2015 National Book Award in Nonfiction. She won the 16th annual Robert Creeley award in 2015.
