Rotary Santa Sighting at Lifecare

Rotary Club AB Holiday Gift Giving Community Service Event

On Wednesday evening, December 14th 2016, Santa Claus, played by Mike Gowing, Bud Flannery and Tony Rivero was spotted cheerfully greeting nursing home residents in their rooms with presents and hearty wishes for a Merry Christmas. Meanwhile members of the Rotary Club of Acton-Boxborough continued to sort the
presents and then later sing Christmas carols to the residents sitting in common areas.

This gift giving event is an annual tradition of the Rotary Club of Acton-Boxborough where club members purchase and wrap specifically requested gifts for 4-5 residents like lotions, blankets and sweaters. It is truly one of the Rotary Club of Acton-Boxborough’s most spirited annual community service traditions and brings so much joy to the residents and to the Rotarians.
