Rotary Wings and Wheels Event Kicks Into High Gear

Antique cars, planes and summertime picnic

Starting Thursday evenings in June and running through the end of August, (except on 7/6) car, plane and picnic enthusiasts can enjoy a weekly feast of cars, planes, and food and beverages at the Minute Man Air Field in Stow.

Hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Acton-Boxborough, Maynard and Nashoba Valley on alternating nights, and sponsored by local businesses, the Wings and Wheels Thursday evening event is a fantastic time for families. This weekly drive-in/fly-in event invites antique car and airplane owners to drive/fly their vehicles in to Minute Man air field for display. Food selections for sale are gourmet brick oven pizzas, burgers, hot dogs, freshly made popcorn and lemonade, soft drinks and beer and wine. Entire event information
can be found at www.wingsandwheelsma.com

There is no admission fee, but $5 donation per person to the Rotary Club hosting that night is suggested to help fund their many service projects and programs in the community. For the Rotary Club of Acton-Boxborough that means youth programs like the Rotary Youth Leadership Award Conference for high school
sophomores, Veteran's Day Breakfast, the Senior BBQ among many others.
