Route 2 Accident Sends Acton Woman to Hospital
An ongoing investigation is taking place by the Massachusetts State Police following a serious car accident on Route 2 in Lincoln on Thursday.

According to the Massachusetts State Police, a 26 year-old Acton woman was seriously injured during an accident of Route 2 in Lincoln, Thursday, at 1:46 a.m. Carolyn M. Cobb of Acton, was pulled over on the right hand lane Westbound, in her 2008 Honda Civic, when a 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser, operated by Clifford E. Moskow, 45, of Concord, struck her vehicle.
Cobb suffered serious injuries and was sent to the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. Moskow was not injured.
Upon investigation, Moskow indicated that he did not see the Honda.

No charges have been filed at this point in the investigation, conducted by Troop A of the Massachusetts State Police, State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and the State Police Crime Scene Services Section.
According to the Massachusetts Sate Police, both Westbound lanes on Route 2 were closed for two hours and ten minutes.
