Boston Strong? More like Boston boobs.
I am well aware of the sensitivity attached to this day, I too remember the fear we all felt on 9/11/01. I cried that day as did my mother and father, my brother was too young to know.
However my heart tells me that I must share my opinion of the last terrorist attack in our nation. On April 15th of this year we were attacked by terrorists but the aftermath was far worse. Many towns in eastern Mass were put on “lockdown” and law abiding citizen’s doors were broken down. Many people’s rights were completely ignored and/or trampled on. I see bumper stickers and t-shirts that say “Boston Strong” and it makes me sick. A majority of the people of Boston and the surrounding towns have shown themselves to be small, weak, cowardly, and are a perfect example of how people like Hitler got away with their crimes. Whenever I see a “Boston Strong” bumper sticker I think “Wow, you’re not only someone who doesn’t value your (and my) rights but you’re someone who actually THANKS your government for suspending your rights”.

Let us not forget that as soon as our government basically gave up and said “go back to living free even though we haven’t found the criminal because we’re so damn inept” an old man found the man they were looking for almost the minute he was had his rights restored. As usual the people did their government’s job for them. A regular old citizen found the suspected terrorist, no one on the government payroll did. Yet all the credit goes to our law enforcement. If Boston is strong then so was Nazi-Germany, the Soviet Union, and East-Germany. If Boston has shown its strength but lying down and taking it, then the average porn star is just as strong if not stronger than the city of Boston.
Today I mourn the loss of thousands of innocent Americans who died 12 years ago, I mourn the loss of the four Americans who died one year ago in Libya, but what I mourn the most is the loss of my nation’s pride and respect and the pair of balls that were apparently cut off a number of years ago.
