Shaking Man Causes Acton Resident to Call for Help

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

A Washington Drive resident asked the Acton Police Department for assistance when a contractor left her house shaking on Nov. 12.

The contractor had arrived at the residence to give the resident an estimate, but when he left the resident noticed he was shaking and called police in case he needed medical attention.

The contractor was gone when officers arrived.

Massachusetts State Police were also notified.

The contractor was thought to be in Lunenburg where officers there assisted with a well-being check.

The contractor was found and he told officers he has a disorder that makes him shake.

In other police news from Nov. 12:

  • A West Road resident reported a domestic disturbance. The party allegedly causing the disturbance left before officers arrived. Officers were able to speak with both parties involved.
  • A Strawberry Hill Road resident reported someone outside his window yelling and harrassing him.
  • A drug violation was investigated on Main Street.
